Adams Dance
Lessons in Kansas City Area
If you live in the Kansas City metropolitan area, you might want to take these
lessons. Will Adams and Paula Marie teach the eight week Beginner class the
first part of each semester. In the Spring they teach a six week Intermediate
class the latter part of the semester; in Fall a four week Advanced class in
November-December.

Location: Chapel Hill Elementary School; 3220 Northeast 67th Terrace, Gladstone, MO 64119
Date and Time: 7-9 p.m., usually on Mondays.
Beginner Course: Eight weeks, first part of each semester.
Intermediate: Six weeks, last part of spring semester.
Advanced: Four weeks the last part of fall semester.
In the Intermediate and Advanced courses, students vote on which dances to emphasize.
Beginning Ballroom Dancing (Tape I)
PREREQUISITE: None
Learn EVERYTHING you need to know to attend a typical big band
dance and dance to 90% - 100% of the music the band plays! Fox Trot, Waltz,
Rumba, East Coast Swing (Jitterbug), Cha Cha, Polka. You will learn six dances
and 48 or more steps! Couples only.
Limit 20 couples. Eight weeks, 16 hours of instruction.
Intermediate Ballroom Dancing (Tape II, III, & IV)
PREREQUISITE: A Class in Beginning Ballroom Dancing
Student will select 3-6 dances from the following and will review
Beginning steps and learn additional steps: Fox Trot, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Cha
Cha, East Coast Swing, Samba, Mambo, Salsa, Night Club Two Step. Couples Only.
Limit 20 couples. Seven weeks, 14 hours of instruction.
Advanced Ballroom Dancing (Tape II, III, & IV)
PREREQUISITE: A Class in Beginning Ballroom Dancing. Intermediate
recommended but not required.
Students select several dances from the following and learn additional
steps up into silver level: Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha, East Coast Swing,
West Coast Swing, Samba, Mambo, Salsa, Night Club Two Step. Couples only.
Limit 20 couples. Five weeks, 10 hours of instruction.
